Returns has made significant changes to the program. Members can now earn points with the new La Quinta Visa Rewards Card. You will get 6,000 bonus points — enough for a free night’s stay — upon enrollment and first purchase. You will also earn five points for every dollar spent at La Quinta Inns & Suites and one point for every dollar spent elsewhere. You can redeem your points for hotel stays or for airline miles/credits with American, Continental, Delta or Southwest, or for $25 shopping and dining cards for such retailers/restaurants as Target, The Home Depot, Chili’s and more. The card comes with a zero percent introductory APR for up to six months and has no annual fee.

There is now no point expiration (formerly, points expired at two years). Points will remain valid as long as your account remains active and the defined activity period has been extended to 18 months from 12.
