The way in which cardmembers of Vietnam Airline’s co-branded credit card earn miles has been changed. Members who spend more than $5,000 per month will get two points for every dollar purchase over $5,000; spending below $5,000 will earn one point per dollar. In the past, spending less than $500 netted no points, from $500-1,999 earned two points per dollar, spending $2,000-5,000 earned three points per dollar and spending over $5,000 a month earned four points per dollar. And to mark the two-year anniversary of the credit card in collaboration with Vietcombank and American Express, Vietnam Airlines is giving credit card holders a 1,000-point bonus a month when they have purchases between May and July, 2007.
