Virgin Atlantic Airways has expanded its codeshare agreement with Singapore Airlines to offer more flight choices when flying between the U.S. and the U.K., Australia, the Middle East and Singapore. Since December, Singapore Airlines’ passengers can fly from Los Angeles or San Francisco to the U.K. or Dubai on Virgin and from January, Virgin passengers can travel on Singapore Airlines’ services between London or Sydney via Singapore. The codeshare agreement includes reciprocal privileges to the members of the respective frequent flyer programs — miles accrued on either airline can be used to fly on the other airline.
