New Plastic for ATA

New Plastic for ATA

ATA Travel Awards members can now sign up for a new Barclays Visa Signature Card to earn one point for every $3 spent. And with a one-time enrollment bonus of 3,000 points after the first time they use their card, they will have enough points for a companion ticket award. Members will also earn points with balance transfers: one point per $3 up to 1,500 points (but you don’t have THAT much to transfer do you?). An interesting perk is priority boarding to card holders and every year that the card is valid, cardholders will be e-mailed a companion ticket certificate that offers flights at a significant savings (for example: Chicago to Dallas for $50). To receive the companion certificate, members must verify that the Travel Awards account profile has a valid e-mail address and the member must be signed up to receive Travel Awards e-statements. The certificate entitles cardmembers to redeem discounted travel on all valid, non-codeshare routes serviced by ATA Airlines in the U.S, Mexico and the Caribbean. The annual membership fee is $49. Members will not earn more points when using the card to purchase flights and there is no limit to the number of points they can earn.
