Members can choose from various mortgage lenders, including Chase Home Finance, CitiMortgage and Wachovia’s Corporate Mortgage Services Division. The more services used or money a member borrows, the more points he or she earns. For example, earn 1,250 points for each $10,000 financed or refinanced on a home, or earn 750 points for each $1,000 paid on van line moving services. • Points.com has been busy lately, partnering with both Intrawest Corporation, a developer and operator of village-centered destination resorts across North America, and VoIPMDU.com, a provider of broadband local and long-distance VoIP services. The agreement with Intrawest will provide members with the ability to exchange the miles and points from various loyalty programs for gift certificates that can be used at many Intrawest owned and/or operated ski or golf resorts. The VoIPMDU.com deal allows Points International’s members to redeem points for certain VoIP telephone services that will be marketed exclusively to Point.com members commencing in the first quarter of 2005. And, in a move perhaps closer to the air traveler’s heart, Frontier Airlines has also joined with Points. EarlyReturns members can now exchange their miles for miles and points in other participating programs, or transfer miles from other programs into their EarlyReturns accounts.
