Starwood Preferred Guest has introduced a new rewards program for small to mid-sized businesses called Starwood Preferred Business. The program essentially allows businesses to accrue points from employee stays at Starwood hotels, as well as qualify for special rates up to 40 percent off published corporate rates.

Benefits include a quarterly report of Starpoints earned and all travel aggregated from registered travelers, access to special offers from select partners, and access to non-public promotional rates from select Starwood hotels from time to time.

To qualify, yours must be an official, U.S. (or Canada) registered company with valid Tax ID (or Business Number [BN]) with at least two active travelers per year, no more than 500 registered travelers, a minimum of 10 stays and 25 room nights at Starwood hotels per year and a maximum of $250,000 in annual Starwood spend

As an added bonus, members earn double points through April 30.
