Air Canada has implemented accumulation changes on certain booking classes for flights within Canada, largely in response to the fact that the low-fares offered by Tango are now available on most routes throughout Canada’s domestic network.
Effective Oct. 1, all “Latitude” fares (A and M classes) will earn 100 percent of status miles flown (with a minimum of 500 miles). All Tango fares (E, N and T), however, will earn just 50 percent of status miles flown (with a minimum of 250 miles). The change applies to all scheduled flights operated by Air Canada, Air Canada Jazz and Air Canada 4-digit flight numbers operated by Air Creebec, Air Georgian Limited, Air Labrador, Calm Air, Central Mountain Air, Pacific Coastal and ZIP.
