You may not like some of the recent changes they’ve cooked up in Montreal, but be assured Air Canada’s Aeroplan is still a solid value.

Their popular Transfer Mileage program, for instance, has returned. From August 1 to October 29, you can transfer Aeroplan Miles from your account to that of family, friends, or any Aeroplan member you like.

Transfer a minimum of 1,000 miles per recipient (a maximum of 999,999 miles), to a maximum of three recipients’ accounts per transaction for a cost of 2cCA per mile transferred. You can request up to 5 transactions during this period.

The Transfer Mileage program is available on the aeroplan.com Web site only; agents at the Aeroplan Call Center will not be able to perform this transaction.
