The incentives by airlines to convince members of frequent-flyer schemes to book online are everywhere. An effort is in South Africa where the SAA Voyager program is offering 1,000 bonus miles for every (not just the first) return flight booked on flysaa.com and flown before Feb. 28. You won’t see the bonus miles in your account before March but as long as you are booking and flying you can count them up.

P.S. There is only one bit of fine print to this promotion: Flights booked and cancelled do not qualify. Darn.
