BMI British midland has announced that they will soon have a new entry into the loyalty marketing world. Though BMI’s frequent flyer program, Diamond Club, has been around since 1987, the UK’s second-largest airline will be adding a twist.
Colloquy.com reported that the as-yet unnamed program will be credit card-based, offering both a classic and platinum version, and will accommodate both the business and leisure travelers alike. The program will award points for purchases on BMI tickets as well as on retail spending, along with bonus points for shopping with selected partners.
Potential customers can expect to see mailings shortly.
