On Oct. 18, the newest movie by Paul Thomas Anderson (Magnolia and Boogie Nights), “Punch Drunk Love” debuts nationally. Starring Adam Sandler and Emily Watson, there is something unique about this movie – parts of it were inspired by the antics of members of FlyerTalk. That’s right, when the craze of clipping pudding coupons to earn miles was all the rage on FlyerTalk, we chronicled several ‘pudding guy’ stories. Now Hollywood finds that collecting miles like this is funny. While we didn’t hire an agent or whine about credits, we think you’ll enjoy seeing what you look like through the eyes of Hollywood. This film won a best director prize at the Cannes Film Festival back in May.
