Last year, WorldPerks introduced its Fly Free Faster promotion, allowing members to earn an easy 10,000 bonus miles simply for using five WorldPerks partners. The promotion was so popular Northwest has decided to bring it back for an encore, but this time members will be forced to clear some additional hurdles before racking up another 10,000 miles. On top of the five partner credits, members now must qualify for the promotion by completing any one of the four activities listed below:

Take a qualifying flight on Northwest, a Northwest-designated flight operated by KLM or a Northwest Airlink flight.

Sign up for MCI Long Distance Service.

Sign up for a one-year service agreement and new phone activation from Nextel.

Apply and be accepted for a WorldPerks Visa Card, Classic, Gold, Signature or Business. The approval date will be used to determine qualifying activity.

You must register for this promotion before completing the qualifying activity and using the partners. The qualifying activity and the partner credits must be earned between May 1 and July 31.

ADVICE: If you can swing one of the qualifying activities, getting the partner credits is the easy part. Just like last year, members can earn multiple credits with one partner. For example, five dinners out to five iDine restaurants would all count as a separate partner activity, thereby fulfilling the partner requirement.
