  • It seems every airline is up in arms over the latest alliance efforts. Delta Air Lines filed a motion with the Department of Transportation seeking a public evidentiary hearing to examine the proposed alliance between American Airlines and British Airways. Delta contends — joined by Continental and Northwest — that a public hearing is needed to provide the DOT with the ability to assess the credibility of the arguments put forward by American and British Airways.
