For a limited time, Diners Club Club Rewards and HawaiianMiles members can jet to Hawaii for just 35,000 Diners Club Club Rewards points — half of the 70,000 points that would normally be required. This effectively reduces the cost of a Hawaii award on Hawaiian Airlines to 17,500 miles,which is the best deal going right now. There is a caveat however – the award is only available for West Coast departures. Having said that, Hawaiian Airlines offers departures from several West Coast cities, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Portland, Seattle and Las Vegas.

Hawaiian miles must be posted by Feb. 21, 2002 for travel between Jan. 7 and March 8, 2002. Points to miles conversions take up to three weeks to post. To expedite this process, members can pay $35 or redeem 5,000 points to complete the transaction in two business days.
