WorldPerks members are now able to collect the Canadian currency Air Miles for flights to or from Canada. As well as earning WorldPerks miles, members can earn 25 Air Miles for each flight taken on Northwest Airlines, Northwest Airlink or KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. Some of you may remember Air Miles’ aborted attempted to launch in the United States. When the program was introduced, frequent flyer miles had already gripped the Americans psyche, so it didn’t stand much of a chance. This partnership, however, might be Air Miles’ way of giving it another shot.

The Air Miles program has an active membership base of more than 60 percent of Canadian households and provides members the opportunity to earn travel, leisure, entertainment and other lifestyle awards by collecting Air Miles at more than 100 sponsors across the country.
