InsideFlyer was created by travelers, for travelers. Here you can discover and share your experiences related to travel and frequent flyer programs with business travelers, leisure travelers, infrequent flyers and road warriors alike. And if you are new to travel, the entire InsideFlyer community is here to get you on your feet. At InsideFlyer you will learn about benefits, privileges and bonus opportunities you may not have known existed. Even more importantly, InsideFlyer exists to bring all types of travelers together and make it easy to find relevant travel advice and information within a friendly environment. At InsideFlyer, you can find “everything you ever wanted to know about frequent flyer miles, but were afraid to ask” – and if you can’t find it, there is no need to be afraid to ask.
InsideFlyer is a privately funded venture based in Colorado Springs, Colorado (affectionally known as the House of Miles). We’re a small diverse group of experienced frequent flyer experts, travel community builders, technologists and friends of the flyer who are here to help you be an expert traveler. We believe that learning about frequent flyer miles should be as fun as travel itself, so we’ve created v.3.2 for you, the road warrior / frequent flyer and for those who aspire to be a frequent flyer.

InsideFlyer has quite the heritage. First founded by frequent flyer guru Randy Petersen in 1986, InsideFlyer magazine founded the Freddie Awards in 1988, FlyerTalk in 1995, BoardingArea in 2008 and the precursor to the current version of InsideFlyer—Milepoint in 2011.
