The nwa.com Club is now open to new members. WorldPerks members can join the club, which is basically an online discount program, for a fee of $35 annually. So what do you get for your money? Well, not to put too fine a point on it, you get a lot of stuff. WorldPerks members who renew their membership, or who sign up for a new membership with the nwa.com Club before Dec. 31, 2001 will receive 2,00 bonus miles, and all members receive a dollars-off E-certificate for the member and a companion worth $25, $50, or $75 – redeemable on their next Northwest or KLM flight. The E-cert is valid for travel within the United States, between the United States and Canada and from the 48 contiguous states to select international destinations.
Members also receive quarterly CyberSaver E-certs, entitling them to special member-only fares to featured destinations, and award travel E-certs, providing a 2,000-mile discount on free award travel. The award travel E-certs effectively reduce the cost of an off-peak domestic ticket to 18,000 miles.
Special Cash & Miles E-certs and an E-cert that waives the $50 Northwest WorldClubs initiation fee are also part of the package.
Finally, members will receive discounts with Northwest WorldVacations, Frommer’s, EarthLink Internet Service, Hertz, Mike’s Cigars, Lobster Gram, 877 Spirits and Starwood Hotels and Resorts.
