TripIt has introduced a paid version of the Web travel tracking service. For $99 a year, new premium features include enhanced flight and frequent travel program monitoring and more. TripIt will keep tabs on flight delays, cancellations and gate changes and alert you via an SMS message for all the airlines in your itinerary. TripIt will also alert you when a delayed flight you’re on may cause you to miss a connecting flight with suggestions on alternative flights with available seats (it will remain up to you to follow through to get on the suggested flight). The “Inner Circle” feature has been introduced that allows you to designate those people who you always share your travel plans with.

And finally, travelers can take advantage of a tracking service for your frequent travel miles/points. The frequent flyer functionality is not anything outstanding–TripIt is certainly not the first to allow this, but according to reports, frequent flyer program tracking has been one of the most requested features.
