oneworld has unveiled a new, more user-friendly Web site that makes it easier to check flight schedules across its global network and see where its member airlines fly.
The new navigation features:
An interactive network map, showing every one of the destinations its member airlines serve and the routes they fly from each of those airports.
An ability to check, direct from the site’s home page, schedules for its member airlines, affiliates and code-share partners, with more direct links to their own Web sites for customers who want to book flights online.
Specific sites, in local languages, tailored to key countries including Canada, France, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
More detailed information on the alliance’s fares, including downloadable brochures in a choice of nine languages, maps showing sample itineraries and an interactive tool to help plan round-the-world journeys which can be used when redeeming miles for these same itineraries.
Extensive links to the appropriate pages of its member airlines’ own Web sites for members who want more information about the partners or ask questions about them or the alliance.
Early next year, oneworld will welcome Japan Airlines and five of its affiliates, plus Malev and Royal Jordanian.
