Spanair has installed an online Web check-in service at http://www.spanair.com.

Online check-in opens 23 hours prior to scheduled flight departure time, and is available up to 45 minutes prior to departure. Online check-in passengers should pick up their official boarding passes at the airport at least 30 minutes prior to flight departure, via the “Easy-Check-in” machines or at the check-in counter.

The system accepts cards from all customer loyalty and frequent flyer programs of Star Alliance network airlines.

Spanair recently updated its overall Web presence in December of last year. Response seems to be positive, as the more than one million hits registered in March of this year represent a 58 percent increase over the same period in 2004.
