Choice Hotels, parent company of Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality, Sleep Inn, Clarion, MainStay Suites, Econo Lodge and Rodeway Inns, has been keeping its techies busy upgrading its Web presence to make its sites more user-friendly for members.

New features include functions that enable guests to map their trips more easily and to find lodgings along the way.

Nearer and dearer to Choice Privileges members’ hearts, though, is the new ability to redeem points online. By logging into the Web site (http://www.choicehotels.com) using their membership number and a password, members can redeem points for hotel stays, gift certificates or airline miles from participating frequent flyer programs. The site also allows members to review their past stays and future reservations.
