On the heels of being crowned Best Web site by frequent travelers at the 16th Annual Freddie Awards, Starwood Preferred Guest has unveiled a new and improved spg.com.

Preferred Guest has completely re-designed and streamlined its site, which now enables members to search, find and book the best rates faster. Enhancements to the site include a customized “My Favorites” quick link for faster bookings, a redesigned special offers section where members can search specials by activity, location, date, and hotel brand, and the ability to access future reservations and account activity without leaving the home page.

To mark the re-launch, members who register at spg.com, make their first online booking, and pay using an American Express card by June 30 will earn 500 bonus Starpoints. Members will earn an additional 250 Starpoints for each subsequent online booking for stays through Aug. 31.
