Using the multi-quote feature on InsideFlyer can be quite useful for responding to content from several fellow members without having to post multiple consecutive times, which can not only extend the length of a discussion; but doing it excessively can potentially violate the rules, terms and conditions of using the forums of InsideFlyer.
This article is a tutorial on how to customize the order of multi-quotes on InsideFlyer — and note that clicking on each screen shot will provide a larger version for easier viewing.
Multi-Quotes on InsideFlyer
Follow the set of instructions below in order to properly multi-quote content on InsideFlyer.
- Let us say that you want to quote what was posted as shown above — but in the order of #5 first; #3 second; and #4 third.
- Follow the instructions in red as shown above:
- Click on the icon shown in the red rectangle in #5 — Message added to multi-quote will appear at the top; then
- Click on the icon shown in the red rectangle in #3 — Message added to multi-quote will appear at the top; then
- Click on the word Reply shown in the red rectangle in #4.
- You will see only the quote added after you clicked on the word Reply…
- …so click on the Insert Quotes button, which is highlighted in black as shown above.
- You will see the quotes ready to be added; but not in the desired order…
- …so you will manually need to cut and past the content in the desired order.
- Once the quoted content is in the desired order…
- …you can now add content to respond to the quoted content, highlighted in yellow as shown above; and then click on the Post Reply button highlighted in blue.
- The content which you quoted and posted is now available for all the world to see; and in your preferred order.
