Save Up to $6,000 on Travel to Antarctica

If you have always wanted to travel to Antarctica — which is often the last continent most people visit when having been to all seven continents — these savings on all voyages to Antarctica departing between November 2016 and February 2017 by Quark Expeditions may be of help to you where you could save up to $6,000.00 if you book your trip before Friday, September 30, 2016.

The trip on which you could save $6,000.00 is based on traveling on the November 15, 2016 voyage known as Falklands, South Georgia, and Antarctica: Explorers and Kings with Twin Window accommodations — yes, sharing a cabin with someone else — when combining what is called Classic Antarctic Savings with Additional Bonus Savings…

…or you could spend as little as $6,795.00 if you travel on the December 9, 2016 voyage known as Antarctic Explorer: Discovering the 7th Continent with Twin Window accommodations — again, you will be sharing a cabin with someone else — when combining the same aforementioned savings.

You can also experience Antarctica in as few as eight days if you travel on the December 2017 voyages known as Antarctic Express: Fly The Drake as a passenger on the Sea Adventurer vessel.

Rates and savings are per person. This offer cannot be combined with any other promotion, referral and past passenger discounts; and it excludes triple cabins or Balcony or Owner Suites.

Early Booking Bonus For Voyages Through 2018

If you prefer to travel later, you can also save up to $6,000.00 per paying traveler — or $12,000.00 per couple, based on any Long voyage, Premium Cabin — on all voyages and cabin categories to Antarctica departing between November 2017 and March 2018 when you take advantage of a reduced deposit of only five percent if you book your trip before Friday, September 30, 2016.

You can reserve your expedition with a reduced deposit — based on the full cost of the expedition — of as little as $280.00, which is based on a Triple Cabin on the Antarctic Explorer: Discovering the 7th Continent voyage.

The deposit is not refundable — to a maximum of $1,250.00 per person — if cancellation occurs outside of 180 days prior to departure. For cancellations on or within 180 days prior to departure, all deposits are fully not refundable. Final payments are due 120 days prior to travel and are not refundable.

Select Terms and Conditions for Both Offers

You must quote the promotion code and provide the full name of each passenger at the time of booking your reservation. Both offers apply to the voyage only; and can be combined with Shackleton Club past passenger offers.

Availability of cabins is limited.

Neither offer is applicable on Adventure Options, additional hotel accommodation, pre tours, post tours, insurance or flights. Additionally, the first offer is not applicable on land-based programs or group bookings; and the Early Booking Bonus offer is not applicable on transfer packages.

Quark Expeditions has the right to limit, change or discontinue promotions at any time without notice.

Other terms and conditions apply; so ensure that you review all of the details and information of either offer before submitting a deposit to book your reservation.

Summary

Trivia: this is only the fifth article in the history of InsideFlyer to mention Antarctica…

…but keep in mind that if you have always wanted to travel to the South Pole, Quark Expeditions is not the company with whom to book your trip, as its itineraries mostly involve cruises.

You could instead fly on an airplane to the South Pole with Adventure Network International — but that trip will set you back $48,150.00; and do not expect a sale to come anytime soon…

…and if you want to stay overnight at the South Pole, be prepared to spend $52,350.00. Add a visit with Emperor penguins to your journey to the South Pole, and cost of the trip increases to $71,250.00 for nine days.

Antarctica is an extremely expensive destination for obvious reasons — so any savings which can be imparted to you so that you may fulfill your dream of scoring this isolated continent on your list of places you have visited is better than none…
