Fly Premium Classes – Earn Bonus United MileagePlus Miles
Through Feb. 28, 2015, United MileagePlus members can earn bonus miles when completing flight segments in booked premium class fares (F, A, J, C, D, Z or P) with United, United Express and select airline partners (Air Canada, All Nippon Airways, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Copa Airlines, Lufthansa or Swiss International Airlines).
Non-elite members can earn between 250 and 3,000 bonus miles; Premier Platinum, Gold and Silver members earn between 250 and 6,000 bonus miles and Premier 1K members earn between 500 and 12,000 bonus miles per flight.
You don’t have to register to get the bonus miles and the amount of bonus miles you earn depends on the length of the flight (short- or long-haul), booking class and your membership tier. Long-haul segments are defined as a distance of at least 3,000 miles or the p.s. routes between New York JFK and Los Angeles or San Francisco.
