Chase recently upgraded the Ultimate Rewards website giving it a new clean and simple design and making it more responsive for use on desktops, laptops, tablets and mobile devices. In addition to cosmetic changes, Chase also made changes to the procedure for transferring points between member accounts. While the terms and conditions have always stated that members may only transfer points to accounts in your name or the name of a spouse/domestic partner, the new website formalizes this process by requiring members to register the account where your points will be transferred. During the account registration process, members are asked to input the name, account number and relationship (with only two options “self” or “spouse/domestic partner”) on the account where the points will be transferred. Once registered, the account information is stored for future points transfers. Chase also made it easier for members to switch between Ultimate Rewards accounts linked to the same profile, so members with multiple Ultimate Rewards earning cards will find it easier to transfer points between accounts.
