Citicards has added new benefits to many AAdvantage co-branded credit cards that will go into effect on Nov. 23, 2014. Benefits vary depending on which card you carry, but some new benefits include access to trip delay protection, baggage delay protection, medical evacuation, improved worldwide auto insurance protection, improved trip interruption and cancellation insurance, return protection (covering most items when a merchant will not accept a return within 90 days), missed event ticket protection (if you have to miss an event due to weather or lost tickets) and improved damage and theft protection. Improvements to worldwide auto insurance protection include covering vehicles with a value up to $100,000. (The current program terms exclude cars with a value over $50,000.)
