Hyatt Gold Passport members have new ways to spend their points at all-inclusive properties.
The former Dreams Cancun will open as the Hyatt Ziva Cancun in late 2015. The 379-suite resort is currently undergoing extensive renovations and will feature lagoon-style pools with swim-up bars, an adult-only pool, 24-hour fitness center, a spa, beach butlers and a romance concierge.
The Hyatt Ziva Cancun is located at the tip of Punta Cancun and the Caribbean Sea surrounds the property on three sides. This is the third all-inclusive resort for Hyatt in Mexico. The Hyatt Zilara Cancun and Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos opened last November.
Award nights at Hyatt Zilara Cancun are 25,000 points per night for a standard room, 40,000 points for a suite single or double occupancy and 12,500 points per additional person (up to four in a room). Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos is 20,000 points for a standard room, 32,000 points for a suite and 10,000 point per night per additional person.
Newly reflagged Hyatt properties slated to open late this year include Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall and Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall in Montego Bay, Jamaica and Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta.
Zilara branded hotels are adults-only properties while Ziva welcomes families with children.
