IHG Rewards Club members who complete a minimum two-night stay by Aug. 31, 2014 at The Venetian or The Palazzo can earn an airfare credit for up to $350 towards one roundtrip airline ticket for a return visit. You must then book a minimum two-night stay at The Venetian or The Palazzo and then book a return stay of at least three nights at The Venetian or the Palazzo within nine months to redeem your airline credit. Airfare credit for your return trip will be earned based on the following: return within three months and earn $350 credit, return within three to six months and earn $200 credit or return within six to nine months and earn $100 credit.

After completing your first stay you will receive an email with instructions on how to book your return trip and utilize your airfare credit. You must register your airline credit award at http://www.ActivateAward.com within 30 days of receiving the email and prior to booking your return trip. The return trip (airfare and hotel) must be booked through ATG at the toll-free number provided when you activate your award credit. A 21-day advance booking is required.

Bottom line: Note that the airfare credit is for one roundtrip airline ticket and the return trip including hotel stay must be booked through the ATG travel agency. With the 21-day advance booking requirement, those who want to earn the maximum $350 airfare credit should make sure to book your return trip as soon as you receive your airfare award. With the requirement to use a travel agency to book the return trip and the required minimum three-night stay for the return trip, the value of the return airfare credit is questionable compared to what you might find booking a return trip on your own.
