The new program will automatically surface relevant information for passengers using iOS devices depending on their location in the airport. With the new program, Virgin’s Upper Class passengers will see their boarding pass automatically brought on screen as they approach a security checkpoint. The airline hopes to personalize passengers’ experience further in the future with features such as offering discounts to those waiting for flights, like an exclusive zero percent commission offer to Virgin passengers who pass by a Moneycorp currency exchange counter.
