Worldhotels Peakpoints

Worldhotels Peakpoints is the new loyalty program for Worldhotels, a worldwide group of independent upscale hotels. The program is being billed as, “one of the first all-virtual programs in the market.”

Worldhotels’ Chief Marketing Officer, Paulo Salvador, said, “Worldhotels Peakpoints allows us and our hotels to engage directly with guests, recognizing their preferences, rewarding their loyalty and enhancing their Worldhotels experience.”

Members earn two points per euro spent based on the room bill, not including food and beverage costs, taxes or service charges. Current exchange rates will be applied to stays outside of the European Union. Members can earn a maximum of 15,000 points per stay.

You can earn 300 Peakpoints when signing up for the program and entering the “Postcard Yourself” sweepstakes by April 24 and have the chance to win three prizes including a two-night stay in Singapore and Peakpoints Silver status including 3,000 points (equals 40 euros voucher), a five-night stay in Cambodia and Gold status including 10,000 points (equals 125 euros voucher)  or the grand prize of Peakpoints World Navigator status including 100,000 points (equals 1,250 euros voucher). Peakpoints earned can be used to redeem for cash-value vouchers that can be used for hotel stays with no blackout dates starting at 2,000 points for a 25 euro voucher. You can also use the vouchers for spa treatments, restaurants or late checkouts. Once issued, vouchers are valid for one year or until the expiration mentioned on the voucher. You can give your voucher to someone else if you wish to do so. Points expire at the end of the following calendar year from when they were earned.

The program has three elite levels offering additional points earning. Members are welcomed to the Silver level when collecting 3,000 Peakpoints within a calendar year and get 10 percent more points, Gold members are welcomed at 10,000 points and get 25 percent more points and Navigator members are welcomed at 20,000 points and get 50 percent more points when staying at Worldhotel properties. Elite status expires at the end of the following calendar year if members do not re-qualify for status.
