United MileagePlus members are no longer able to search for awards online at united.com. United announced that United and Singapore Airlines agreed to remove Singapore Airlines inventory from award flight results on United.com and on the United Mobile App. United MileagePlus members will need to call reservations to search for and book a flight award on Singapore Airlines using United MileagePlus miles.

Bottom line: Removing online award availability will make it harder for MileagePlus members to redeem miles for Singapore Airlines flights and United Airlines did not give any explanation why Singapore Airlines award inventory would no longer be available online. The award booking fee to book an award flight over the phone will not be waived.
