Delta has added some new features to Delta’s Ticket Counter on Facebook, which was introduced last year and offers members the ability to book Delta Air Lines flights directly from Facebook.

Now, Delta passengers can also use Delta’s Ticket Counter to check-in online within 24 hours of departure, as well as check their flight status, view trip details and in-flight amenities and view their SkyMiles account balance. You can also share your travel information with your friends and family on Facebook.

Delta has also added a new tab on its Facebook page where members can contact customer service through the Delta Assist program, which can also be accessed via Twitter at @DeltaAssist. Facebook users can contact the airline with questions, comments and concerns and Delta promises to “quickly get back to you with the information you need.”
