Delta passengers will receive free Internet access from Delta and Google Chrome through Jan. 2, 2011 on flights equipped with Gogo Inflight Internet. You can do some last-minute holiday shopping or catch up on email and use #DeltaWifi on Twitter to show you are tweeting from 30,000+ feet.

Delta is not the only airline offering free WiFi with Google Chrome. Virgin America and AirTran Airways passengers will also benefit from free WiFi until Jan. 2, 2011.
In other Delta news, a new Blackberry app is on the way by the end of the year for Delta travelers, who will be able to use the app to check-in, view flight status, schedules and gate information and access their SkyMiles account.
