Second quarter reduced flight awards for CitiBank AAdvantage cardmembers have been posted online and are good for travel through June 30, 2009. The discounted awards are only available for select domestic flights within the 48 contiguous states.

The mileage requirements remain the same and Citi Platinum Select MasterCard and Citi Select AMEX cardmembers can redeem 17,500 miles for select coach awards and 42,5000 miles for awards in first or business class. Citi Gold MasterCard and Citi AMEX cardmembers can redeem 20,000 miles for coach and 45,000 miles for first or business class awards.

Overall, the list of possible destinations is uninspiring, but there are a few popular vacation destinations included in the mix, such as Santa Barbara, Atlanta, Corpus Christi, New Orleans, New York City and Washington Dulles. And you can spend fewer miles for trips to places such as Savannah, Ga.; Baton Rouge, La. or Toledo, Ohio.
