Southwest prides itself in saying no to fees, but in a recent interview with In Business Las Vegas, Gary Kelly, Southwest’s CEO, was asked if the airline will charge for the planned in-flight Internet access. Kelly stated that the airline had not yet decided if they would charge and added, “It is a choice for customers, and I do think it is eligible for consideration as an additional charge. And I don’t think customers would object to that at all. But even having said that, we haven’t made the determination that we’re going to charge for that.”
