Last day to earn up to 40,000 bonus miles with US Airways Grand Slam promotion. Members earn a “hit” for each qualifying transaction with participating Dividend Miles partners, and for every fourth hit earn bonus miles in addition to the miles normally earned with the partner.

Last day American AAdvantage members can book awards at the current redemption rates. Effective Oct. 1, 2008, American AAdvantage is raising its award requirements on select routes and award types. Most of the changes affect business/first class awards and AAnytime awards, although a few coach award levels are also increasing. Additionally, AAdvantage awards that require miles and a cash co-payment will be discontinued on this date.
