After registering, customers will be sent one text message each week that includes txtSAAver discounted fares as well as a featured AAdvantage frequent flyer program special offers. To sign up, log on to www.aa.com/textsaaver. Verizon, Sprint, Nextel, Alltel and Virgin customers can also enroll by texting “AA” to the short code 22898 (AATXT). Standard messaging rates apply. The Dallas/Fort Worth market is the first phase of American’s roll out of the new program, implying that other cities will be added soon.
