Another unique feature for Gold and Diamond HHonors members is the ability of checking in online from two to 36 hours in advance of a stay, regardless of the method of reservation. They can pre-select a specific room with features that best meet their needs and print a confirmation. When arriving at the hotel, they simply stop by the front desk to pick up their room key.

Hotel bookings through Hilton Hotels Corporation’s Web sites have seen a steady increase. Web bookings currently represent 17.2 percent of the company’s bookings, compared to 9.1 percent in 2002. Changes have recently been implemented on the site and visitors can take a tour when visiting the News & Updates section.
