Singapore Airlines recently launched its new-look Web site — http://www.singaporeair.com — and an array of promotional campaigns for the holiday season to encourage people to take advantage of the site’s increased functionality. The new format is available in seven languages — English, Japanese, Korean, French, German, and traditional and simplified Chinese.

KrisPex, the passenger excursion fares offered by Singapore, are available through travel agents and the new Web site. KrisPex fares hold certain advantages over other regular discount fares, including assured earning of full KrisFlyer miles and discount fares for young travelers. Discounts are also available if members purchase KrisPex via the Internet rather than through a travel agent.

To boost awareness and usage of its new online reservation system, Singapore Airlines has been offering 2,000 bonus miles to those members who use the Web site to purchase KrisPex WEB fares and complete their trip by March 15, 2006. Furthermore, all passengers purchasing normal full-fare tickets (i.e. not KrisPex discount tickets) online will receive a complimentary Singapore Airlines carry-on bag.
