National Car Rental has launched its “One-Two-Free 2005” promotion that rewards Emerald Club members one free car rental day when they take two separate rentals of at least two consecutive days each. There is no limit to the number of free days a customer can earn, and rental days are in addition to other rewards, such as frequent flyer miles and rental credits for free days. The promotion lasts until Dec. 20, and free rental day certificates can be used for rentals between Jan. 1 and June 25, 2006, at participating locations in the U.S., and are valid for vehicles from mid-size up to full-size.

Members who earn too many of these free car rental days may think about donating them to those who have lost vehicles in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
