This little tidbit flew under the radar recently: Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air have eliminated blackout dates for Mileage Plan Saver Awards for 2005 and 2006.

This includes system-wide Alaska blackout dates, as well as Horizon Sun Valley directional blackout dates.
