Starwood has come up with a great offer for United Mileage Plus members who may be thinking about heading to Hawaii. Members who book stays at participating Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, Westin Hotels & Resorts, The Luxury Collection, or W Hotels by Nov. 30, and stay by June 30, 2005, will receive 35 percent off room rates. What’s more, Mileage Plus members can earn up to triple miles during their stay at one of the participating properties.

On the island of Oahu, members will receive discounted room rates at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani ($134 per night), Sheraton Waikiki ($189 per night), Sheraton Moana Surfrider ($192 per night), The Royal Hawaiian ($247 per night) and the W Honolulu-Diamond Head ($267 per night). On the island of Kauai, Mileage Plus members will receive the 35-percent discount at the Sheraton Kauai Resort ($212 per night) and at Princeville Resort ($293 per night). The Sheraton Maui Resort ($228 per night) and The Maui Resort & Spa ($254 per night) are the two participating properties on Maui. On the island of Lanai, members will receive the discount when staying at The Lodge at Koele ($375 per night) and at The Manele Bay Hotel ($342 per night). As for the Big Island, members have the discount waiting for them at the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa ($208 per night).

The rates quoted above are valid through Dec. 25, and new rates will apply thereafter. However, members who book over the phone will only receive double miles (1,000 miles) and the 35-percent discount may not be applicable at all the participating properties.
