Online auctioneer eBay and loyalty-point merchant Points.com have reinforced their already existing relationship, making Points.com the major conduit for all travel loyalty programs wishing to link up with eBay’s “Anything Points” program.

A customer who signs up to become an Anything Points member will now also be given the option of joining Points.com (with the added incentive of one free points exchange).

What’s more, eBay users who purchase a “PointsPlus” membership from Points.com will net a bonus of 2,100 Anything Points. The membership cost of $19.95 per year includes unlimited exchanges, which normally cost $5.95 each.

Points International and eBay have also agreed to extend the term of their original 2003 agreement until December 2005.
