Customers can now retrieve, make changes to or cancel their reservation, all from the convenience of their home or office. These improvements to AirTran.com are available for all users of the Web site — travel agents, corporate accounts, A-Plus Rewards members and the general public.
Reservations may be canceled or changed up to one hour prior to departure time.
Changes and cancellations may be made to the customer’s full flight itinerary or to just the individual departing or returning segment. Changes may be made to the flights, travel dates, city pairs or fare class. Customers also will be able to change the seat assignment, if the fare provides advance seat assignment.
Change and cancellation fees will be waived if made within four hours of the original booking.
