Continental Airlines has announced it is offering free wireless Internet access in all of its Presidents Clubs throughout the United States, except in Chicago where it shares a club with Northwest Airlines. The company expects to expand the service to its international clubs by the end of 2004.
The service, powered by Cisco Systems network equipment, enables any Presidents Club member with a 802.11b WiFi enabled computer or client card to access the Internet from anywhere in the club. Continental will have informational handouts available to help members log in to the service.
