Alaska Airlines recently introduced Alaska Beyond, offering enhanced in-flight entertainment and comfort amenities in 50 of Alaska’s 737 planes. The company plans to equip nearly all of its fleet with Alaska Beyond services by April 2015. Alaska Beyond Entertainment allows passengers to access curated content on their WiFi-enabled tablet, laptop or smartphone including premium movies and TV shows starting at $1.99. The airline’s inflight entertainment programming is provided by Gogo Vision.

Alaska Beyond Comfort features standard and USB power outlets at every seat, leather seats with additional space and three inches of recline and six-way adjustable headrests. Alaska Beyond also extends to food and beverages featuring popular Northwest brands–coach passengers on flights over 2.5 hours can purchase hot meals and first class will get a meal or snack no matter the length of the flight.
