Spirit Airlines has partnered with Rewards Network to introduce a new miles for dining program. FREE SPIRIT Dining offers members up to five miles per $1 spent (including tax and tip) at participating restaurants, bars and clubs. VIP members (those with 12 qualifying transactions in a year) earn five miles per $1 spent. Online members (those who elect to receive emails from FREE SPIRIT Dining) earn three miles per $1 and other members earn one mile per $2 spent.

To earn miles through the dining program, you must enroll and register a credit or debit card. If you already participate in a dining program with another frequent flyer or hotel program, you can still join FREE SPIRIT dining, but be sure to register a different credit or debit card when joining so that you earn FREE SPIRIT miles.

Bottom line: Members of the following travel loyalty programs can earn miles when dining through Rewards Network: Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan, American AAdvantage, Delta SkyMiles, Hilton HHonors, IHG Rewards, Southwest Rapid Rewards, United MileagePlus and US Airways Dividend Miles.
