Aeroplan members can now include one stopover on Star Alliance domestic award flights to the U.S. and two stopovers on Air Canada to international destinations or on Star Alliance intercontinental flights. Previously, stopovers were limited to one stopover on Air Canada and Star Alliance international award itineraries with no stopovers possible on domestic routes.

Furthermore, members can now combine transatlantic and transpacific flights on the same award itinerary to create a round-the-world flight award as long as the routing doesn’t exceed the maximum permitted mileage and includes valid routings.
