In your quest to find a new hotel to spend your points on, keep this property in mind. Wyndham Hotels and Resorts will open the new 497-room hotel Green Village at Cap Cana near Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic sometime the end of this year. The resort will feature bungalows, villas and private residences as well as an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus golf course. Meeting spaces, a convention facility, spa and fitness center, two restaurants, a combo cafe and food mart, two pools, tennis and diving will also be available for guests. Most Wyndham Rewards hotels in the Dominican Republic cost 20,000 points per night, up to 25,000.
It’s too early yet to know the points that will be required for staying at the new Green Village hotel. Wyndham Rewards members earn 10 points per dollar on all charges spent at Wyndham hotels and resorts (not just per dollar spent on room rate only) and free night stays range from 10,000 to 30,000 points, depending on the hotel’s average daily rate.
